Rohit started Promindlift after his family's textile business got hit by a ransomware attack. Their IT company took three days to respond and wanted to charge extra for weekend recovery. That experience taught us that businesses need partners, not just service providers. We spent our first two years learning what real cybersecurity support looks like - being available when disasters strike, speaking in plain terms instead of tech jargon, and treating every client's emergency like our own.
Growing Through Honest Mistakes
By 2022, we had fifteen clients and thought we knew everything. Then we took on a project that was way over our heads - a manufacturing company needed their entire network rebuilt. We almost failed completely. Instead of making excuses, we brought in specialists, worked 12-hour days for two months, and delivered something better than promised. That taught us when to say no and when to expand our capabilities. We hired Priya in 2023 specifically because she could handle the complex integrations we couldn't. Sometimes your biggest mistakes become your biggest strengths.
Building Something Lasting
This year, we're focusing on the long game. We have 47 clients now, but we're not chasing numbers anymore. We're building relationships that last decades. Our goal for the next three years is simple: become the security team that Indian businesses never want to replace. That means investing in continuous training, maintaining response times under two hours, and never treating any business like they're too small to matter. We measure success by how many of our clients sleep better at night, not by how much we can charge.
